Currently I have a total of 43 root and sub-folders. There appears to be some hard limit to the number of folders that you can have, beyond which, Outlook starts to break down and only show a partial list. I ended up clearing all of the subscribed folders and then I get a complete list of the top level folders, but several of those folders have sub-folders, and I think this is where the problems come in. Querying for 'a' would always show some folders, etc. However, repleatedly hitting the Query button often shows varying lists of folders. When I have the IMAP folder form open, I often don't see any folders in the either the All view or the Subscibed view. I sometimes had to toggle the show subscibed folder option to get the full view to display. When the problem first stared, I turned on the option to 'only show subscribed folders' in the tree view, and then subscribed all of the folders. ![]() I have discovered that there seems to be some threshold to the number of folders and sub-folders that I can have under the Inbox of the IMAP account. I also used the SCANPST.exe tool to analyze and repair the. At first, I thought that it was a Windows Update, but I have backed out the batch of Windows updates that I had applied on on Aug. ![]() Done some more playing with this problem.
